Again, I’ll never understand why characters don’t listen to their gut instinct or see the red flags, but I’m here for the twists and turns lol
Elias is one crazy roommate! With a roommate like him, who needs friends or enemies??

Meh. Predictable as all hell and very unrealistic. How many red flags do you need to see in a person before realizing they’re nuts?? Also poorly edited. Not my fave by KM.
It's been a while since a book has made me rage lol! I have never in my life wanted to reach through a book and rattle a character as much as I wanted to with Elias. He was so infuriating with his behavior. He just had all the audacity in the world with the kinds of things he was doing to Wes. And oh my gosh, the ending! I couldn't believe how deep the deception and obsession went with him.
The suspense built throughout the story and had my heart racing as the book was coming to an end. This one really creeped me out.
I listened to the audio version of this book, which was narrated by Stephen Graybill. I liked listening to him for the most part. The parts he narrated for Wes were fine, but he didn't really change his voice for the other characters, so sometimes it was hard to tell who was speaking.

Let's just say that this was not good. The husband was so whiney and stupid that I couldn't stand him. His wife was not better and even though I could see where is she coming from, she wasn't fair to him and blame him for everything. And that ridiculous explanation, lord help me.
Also, who in the right mind, would move in with somebody they barely remember from high school? No matter what situation the husband was in, for an adult he made such poor decisions.
Spoiler
You want to tell me that this high school loser was stalking this family for 14 YEARS, maybe longer and nobody bloody noticed anything? I want some proper and longer explanation than the one I got. All the stuff was just skimmed over. Also, who in the right mind, would move in with somebody they barely remember from high school?
