What an absolute delight to read. This is such a beautiful, sweet feel good romance between Bradley and Shane who become best friends then lovers.
Their circumstances for meeting are very different from the norm and after becoming insta friends, their relationship grows over time into love.
There’s no angst, funny moments, tender moments and some wonderful side characters which all make for a delightful and engaging read. I read this in one sitting and had a smile on my face throughout the whole book!

When Bradley lost his wife, he never thought he would need to go looking for his daughter’s biological father. What do you say to man who doesn’t even know that he is a father? Bradley must take a chance for his daughter’s sake. Bradley believes that Shane has a right to know that he has a daughter, but Bradley is still afraid of what could happen.

This is a sweet story that shows the power of love. Bradley and Shane hit it off right from the start. The two men become fast friends but what will happen when their feelings begin to become more? Can either man take the risk and grab for happiness or will they let it slip away? I enjoyed watching these two find their way. Both men see the true person underneath what the other shows the world. Seeing their relationship grow and deepen made for a good read. Not only was Bradley and Shane’s relationship engaging but all the other relationships that grew in this story made a lasting impression. The author weaves a wonderful story full of strong and endearing characters that kept me interested all the way to the end.

This was the super cute story of how something tragic can be a blessing in disguise.

Thank you to the author and Gay Romance Reviews for my advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest review.

Widower Brad learns that his daughter isn’t biologically his and seeks out her real father, Shane. Instead of being furious at the situation, Brad is happy since he has a potentially hereditary disease in his family history that he doesn’t want his daughter to suffer from.

Upon learning of Brad’s (and Maddie’s) existence, it doesn’t take long before Shane and Brad are ready to meet up. Inviting Shane into their lives, Brad gets more than he expected when he gains a best friend. The relationship grows into an attraction and desire for each other.

I liked the relationship between Maddie and both Brad and Shane. It was all a very convenient situation. It was enjoyable and I liked the full story but I wasn’t as gripped by it as I would have liked.

Unrealistic plot... Too good to be true! But surely cute, fluffy and worth one time reading (specially if You're into single dad romance)

This was pretty cute, but also a perfect example that books that have all the tropes that I like, still don't have to be my favorites.

I liked that this was a genuine slow burn and the romance didn't really come into play until pretty late in the story, even though there was attraction from the beginning. I have to say, though, I did find it pretty strange that Bradley would just invite his dead wife's ex boyfriend to LIVE with him and his daughter. This dude could have been a serial killer for all you know.

All the scenes with Maddie were pretty damn adorable. I'll have to be honest, though, I have a hard time even remembering anything that happened in this story. I listened to the audio book in one sitting and I'm already blanking on what happened after Shane started living with Bradley and Maddie. The story just kind of meandered around, to be honest.

Overall, not a bad book, but not really memorable, either.
