Would love to give it a better rating because the second half of the book and the ending is actually really beautiful, but I cannot for the life of me ignore that first half. It gave wattpad. But yeah the second half saved it so still worth it.

I couldn't wait for Landon & Shay, I was so excited to learn their story. I'm a sucker for a good enemy's to lovers and B.Cherry didn't disappoint. Landon was so complex and my heart hurt for his sad soul. Shay was just as amazing as I knew she would be from Eleanor & Grey. I adored their banter, it's one of my favorite parts of these types of books and this was spot on. I can't wait for part 2, counting down the days!

i’m actually so excited to read the second book. just sitting here hoping for time jumps, angst, enemies turned to lovers turned to strangers to lovers… i’m hoping for too much but landon & shay can definitely pull it off.
p.s. my favorite part in this book is when they spent his birthday watching friends on dvd and eating pizza. best scene, best people. that’s it. <3 <3

Am Anfang kam ich etwas schwer in die Geschichte rein, nach etwas weniger als der Hälfte wurde es besser und ich hab es sehr geliebt. Landon & Shay = Zucker.
Das Ende war überraschend gut, ohne viel „Drama“ oder Missverständnissen zwischen den beiden. Bin gespannt auf den 2. und letzten Band der Reihe.
