Would’ve probably loved this when I was younger, but even then, it misses a bit of oomph, makes me want to rebuild the story in my head instead like some sort of self-centered psychopath.
The amount of responsibility given to young adults was uncalled for and the decisions that some characters made (specifically Castle) were utterly moronic. Letting Warner go and giving a lot of missions to Juliett is probably amongst the stupidest things a leader of any rebel army would do. Yeah, why not let the pubescent kids just run a whole entire revolution with no previous experience? Sounds like a great plan... Oh? You're whole resistance got annihilated by the evil government? Who would've thunk.
Would've probably liked it better had taken itself half as seriously sometimes.

I HATE YOU ADAM. i want him to dieee no bc i know the next novella is his perspective and its next to read before i read ignite me. but ignite??? the word on warners back??! okay!!! and the way he looked at her and andersons house aaaaaaaaaa. and how he saved her ahhhh. and her in his bed at the end???? oh my god yes. yes. yes. yes.

this book is amazing, I love how juliette becomes this badass character, her character development was astonishing. 4/5.
Started really slow, and tbh I thought about giving up.
