This is a fun read for anyone who was a weird kid in the 80's that loves a little cultural immersion. The bonds of friendship are tested by what you can only assume from the title is a nasty demon intent on making high school worse than it already is for two friends with a tight bond. Good old Patrick Bateman would definitely appreciate some of the musical allusions.
