Overall, just wasn’t the story I was hoping for. Not the ‘slasher’ 90’s type horror novel that it seemed to be advertised as?
This was slow. Too much exposition for me, and honestly, if the reveal weren’t pretty good, it might’ve been only one or two stars.

A whole lot of nothing for the most boring “climax” ever. Absolutely no horror/suspense until the last few chapters of the book and even that is not very thrilling at all.
