The Australian girl who does the reading for this production is excellent -- just how I imagined Ellie might sound. I do not listen to many audiobooks, but this is one that makes me think I ought to listen to more.

I enjoyed Tomorrow, When the War Began overall, though I found myself occasionally losing focus and not always feeling motivated to pick it up. That said, the story had some strong action scenes and the central concept—a group of teenagers caught in the middle of an unexpected war—is definitely compelling. While it didn’t completely grip me all the way through, I’m invested enough in the characters and the storyline that I plan to continue the series. I want to see what happens next.
