great read

Another great story. You can't go wrong with a book written by Cherise. As with her Shadowlands book this story captured me from beginning to end.

Paranormal ménage à trois MFM
Vic is a fiesty heroine. She is clearly a badass long before she gets cougar genes, and it takes her a long time to figure out what’s happened.
Alec and Calum are brothers and rather important in their shifter community. The introduction of a captivating newcomer, human or not, definitely peaks their interest.
I feel like the pacing for this book was odd. Sometimes it seemed like there was a time skip of weeks but then the next page would make it seem like only days had passed. Or that Vic was supposed to do something in five days but clearly a full week had passed and she hadn’t. I struggled with the timeline.

I also struggled with the ending. Vic doesn’t seem the type to not stay and fight it out. That felt untrue to her character, and then very rushed in terms of patching it all up for a HEA.

I love this book. It's an awesome start to the series. Even when it's not a BDSM book u still get great sexy macho Dom shifters in it. The world the books are based in are fantastic. I love how the shifters have a Devine from God kind of relationship but doesn't sound fanatic or weird. Loved it 5stars.

1st read 02/01/2017 3*, 2nd read 03/12/2017 bumped up to 4 *, 3rd read 19/07/22 - 4*

I enjoyed this far more the second time round than the first. This is still not my typical paranormal romance as alpha males, mates and sharing etc. but here it works. The scenes are hot and will most surely give you the tingles.

I understood Vicki more this time and grasped her and her feelings more. She is a strong heroine but she is like a marshmellow crusty on the outside but soft and gooey on the inside.

Alec and Calum are still awesome although they get somewhat idiotic to the end. This is a series I can definitely get on board with.

I enjoy the author's writing very much.

You like menage than this book and series is for you.

I have got to hand it to Cherise! I am a BIG fan of her work and am a HUGE fan of her Shadowlands series. However I was never really into the paranormal stuff so was always hesitant on reading this. However after finding myself at a loss of what to read next, I thought what the heck, why not??

And I am SO SO SO glad I have this book a chance! I LOVED this book! I read the book in less than 24 hrs and was bummed when I finished it (which usually does happen with Cherise's work). I never wanted to book to end.

Well done Cherise!!
