Very gothic with a creepy old house, full of ghosts (but not too terrifying), a tragic family mystery-This was an excellent read! Not so scary that I couldn't sleep at night but I was very invested in unraveling the mystery, and found the ending very satisfying.

A very enjoyable ghost story! This was a little spooky, but mostly the ghosts were benign or friendly and gave more of a witch/fantasy vibe than a gothic/horror vibe. I was intrigued by the family mystery and everything wrapped up satisfactorily at the end. The audiobook narrater was also very good and I think read with just the right balance of cozy and dramatic.
