I only read this because book one ended on a cliffhanger. I did not like it. I felt like these characters were 20 years old with their level of immaturity going on.

This just felt unnecessary. This book shouldn’t have been written in my option. Books 1 was already a let down that I tried to enjoy but this was unbearable. Calista is an idiot who someone fell for someone who stalked her, kidnapped her, & MURDERED HER FATHER! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve read my fill of dark romances where the men does messed up things to the FMCs. But this? And somehow we were able to justify why it was okay? Pass.  Hayden was a walking red flag from the first moment we met him. But it just could never come off as sexy. It was just weird and annoying. And I could never feel the chemistry between them. Honestly I felt that Calista had more chemistry with her bodyguard.

In cca 1500 books I've read so far in my life this is the first one I find repulsive. Red flags that I can't justify. I did read it to be sure and yes I did highlight a lot but still he was just wrong in so much. Even if it's not the same genre, Tamlin is a baby to Hayden and f*cking someone with a gun or a knife like Z did is also nothing to Hayden.
