Even though Hayden is very toxic i could for the most part accept his actions and reasons for them. The only part that somehow bothered me is the implication of the forced pregnancy. It isn’t explicitly written but it seems as though Hayden prevented her from getting the contraception shot. And that is something i cant really accept even though in the end Callista isn’t too upset by the pregnancy. I feel like in general she accepted all the shit he did a bit too quickly 😅
I actually dropped this book at Loc 830. The writing sucks, the author cannot be serious. Insulting our intelligence and processing skills with how god awful the writing is. And the deal breaker for me was her still sleeping with him after finding out he is her stalker, and him showing no remorse or guilt and REPLACING HER BIRTH CONTROL?? I love a dark romance but this is just poorly written. DNF!!!
