I’ll preface this by saying that if you don’t care about twin peaks that much, don’t even bother.
If you really like twin peaks I recommend, even though it’s not required reading I feel really glad I read it. Background on the town created by the hornes, martells, packards; BOB & Mike; Douglas Milford and major Briggs. Really gets into the lore and gives life to the twin peaks universe. The difference between mysteries and secrets, intertwining the otherworldly with untamed nature and indigenous people. It’s not exactly fair at all points, it was written by a white guy and he’s trying to speak on indigenous spirituality and colonization from his own perspective, so it’s not perfect but I don’t think it’s immoral, per se, just needs to be taken a closer look at from an indigenous perspective.
