FBI agent Tammy Preston is tasked with finding the identity of the Archivist, the author of a mysterious dossier that links the town of Twin Peaks to events in US history. Its a wild weird ride that contains so many continuity errors that i can't help but wonder if it was done on purpose. Unless Robert Jacoby did die twice

I really wanted to like this book!! But some of the way that it reads like a Nonfiction book aren’t the best way to tell a fictional story. The volume of UFO stuff was also just not for me.
Maybe sometime when I have more recently watched the first two seasons I can try again and this will click better for me. I may just be too far outside of the world right now. (Even though I just read Laura’s diary)

Absolutely engrossing, I just finished season 2 and then blew through this. Even at its lowest moments the world of twin peaks is incredible and this supplement is more of that.
People looking for “the continuing adventures of the people on the show I like” may be disappointed, but it certainly fleshes out the backgrounds of several minor players.
Also really enjoyed the format of this book, the dossier made it easy to read a few documents at a time, then come back to it later if necessary.
