I hate to say this isn’t entirely what I hoped it would be, but I guess you shouldnt engage with any twin peaks related material in the hopes of having your expectations met. Not every question was answered, no, but it was still another piece of wonderful worldbuilding in the TP universe and for that I am very pleased. The book spends a very very significant amount of time on all but entirely disconnected material, which was at times a little taxing, but overall I deeply enjoyed this book.

Some good supplemental material for anyone who is wanting a deeper dive into the show.

really do not care one iota about dwayne milford I just wanted to stew in the intense personal relationships between the main characters of the show... give me coop give me harry s truman give me laura... majority of this book was unnecessary imo

I wish it was focused more on the Twin Peaks characters and less on old UFO history. It was more like an X-Files history.

I just want to say that I really wanted to love this book. But it wasn't what I wanted, I guess.

Lots of backstory. . . for peripheral characters or people we've never been introduced to before. Also a fair amount of meandering outside of Twin Peaks, in order to make the "files" complete, I suppose. Not much at all about the characters we've come to know and have questions about. Plus, here and there a discrepancy from the show. Sigh. And not nearly enough weird anecdotes about the woods, as I was hoping for.

Definitely must read for every Twin peaks fan.

Interesting but at times tedious
