A lovely conclusion to this wonderful series. The characters, setting, and lore are as fascinating as ever even as Turner brings them to a satisfying end of her tale.
In every review after the original novel I've voiced my regret that the series didn't follow a more fantastical path - and a part of me still feels that way - but in this book Turner has managed to follow through on both the political and fantasy themes of the series in a really enjoyable way.
I won't forget these characters any time soon, and I *hope* this isn't the very end of Turner writing in this world.

A perfect ending to a perfect series. Time to start reading them over again.
