Some spoilers but nothing to bad.

This is the second series I started by this author. I’ve just finished book 3 and let me tell you. This series is nonstop. There is no shortage of action in this book. But, it’s very repetitive. I got similar vibes from the other series I started by her (legacy of shadows) they seem to follow the same script. To be frank, by book three I was bored.

 These were a good series, but not a great one by any means. At the start I really thought this might beat the Dragon Trilogy, but then Rowan began doing things that she'd complain about the guys doing. It got annoying. The story did pick up in the end though, but not a lot. While I liked this story overall, it was just okay in the end.

The pregnancy epilogue probably didn't help in that regard.
