Just not what I was expecting from Chuck. I love Chuck Palahniuk books, but this one felt different. In a bad way.
This book just isn't my cup of tea. It's very well written and it's a page turner, but I didn't appreciate the vulgarity and dark humor as much as I thought I might. Totally understand why some people love his stuff, but it made me cringe just a tad too much.
I'm sure there is an audience for this book that greatly enjoy it, I'm just not it.
These stories were incredibly twisted, dark, and uncomfortable in the most extreme and negative sense of those words. I truly wish I could "un-read" several of them.
