I read this in pretty much one go. I could not stop reading!!! I got heists, I got fights, I got stressed out team dynamics, I got meaningful character arcs and twists and turns! I need a book 2 or I will riot! Also the writing is so visually cinematic I am not surprised they are making this into a film and I cannot wait to see it!

I really liked the whole book and the buildup was good but then the ending was so disappointing.

Yooo! Ich bin beeindruckt!

Am Anfang dümpelt die Story ziemlich vor sich hin und auch die Charaktere erfahren nicht wirklich Tiefe oder großartige Ausarbeitung oder waren für mich sonderlich interessant.

Als es dann aber in die verschiedenen Phasen des Spiels ging, sich Teams bildeten, Pläne geschmiedet wurden und "Freunde" fanden, da nahm das Ganze richtig Fahrt auf. Wem kann man trauen und wem nicht? Hat Ross tatsächlich nur extreme Trust Issues, oder sind diese sogar gerechtfertigt?

Mit Ross bin ich auch das erste Mal seit langem endlich wieder auf einen interessanten Hauptcharakter gestoßen! Sie ist eine starke Persönlichkeit mit gut ausgewogenen Stärken und Schwächen und relativ realistischen Gedanken- und Handlungssträngen (für eine Siebzehnjährige).

Dafür, dass ich während der ersten 100 oder so Seiten kurz davor war, das Buch nicht zu beenden, MUSS ich jetzt einfach den zweiten Teil lesen! Sowas ist mir noch nie passiert. Das war das erste Buch der Autorin, die ich auf jeden Fall im Auge behalten werde. Sie hat Potential.
