Very fun story of a bunch of “oldies” as they call themselves getting up to criminal hijinks to get out of a sub-par nursing home.
Similar to 100 year old man, but the writing wasn't as good. It felt like there were too many holes in her story. She tried to fill some of them, but that just made the others stand out more.
I loved the premise of the book, but just couldn't get into it. It felt a bit long-winded for my taste.
It started off fun but as more and more mishaps happened i got bored of it, especially when some of them were just people being stupid/ not doing their jobs/ underestimating people. That was when I got into sleepy territory.
This was cute. Very comedy of errors, and I was definitely rooting for the League of Pensioners.
