Idk if it’s the e-book version that has issues but. Bestie. The typos are too much. I double checked for an email to inform you personally but nothing. It’s making my eye is twitch something fierce!
And the legal inaccuracies are not helping my eye twitch. Literally no research into the legal field then, huh? Like. Not even basic….okay then.
Anyway. This is the second book in this series I have felt like I put the time into and didn’t get the full payoff. Important revelations are glossed over, emotions not fully delved into to the point that I want them to be. Sure I would like it to be a more deep scene but I’m talking not even mentioned. Like. They just move on?? Idk. Not enough resolution for me. Tropes are tropes for a reason and if I have to be put thru certain archaic and misogynistic plot points, I want the reaction. That’s all I’m saying. I did take away a star for that reason. I just don’t get enough from this author, emotionally.
