This was alright. I know this was published originally in like 2015 and it shows. The artwork seems aged just like the storyline. She's having such a hard time admitting that she likes him and there is so much back and forth here. This is only volume one and I see that this is still ongoing. I can't see myself reading this one for that many volumes.

If you're into the older shoujo, then you might like this one.

This was cute but the whole plot depends on Yuki not being able to make a decision

Picked this up off of a TikTok recommendation. It’s a cute slice of life romance between a second year student and an underclass man. It hasn’t completely hooked me just yet, but it’s a fun and easy read!

Naruse is a first year and a member of the basketball team, of which Yuki is the manager. As the manager, she’s sort of like the assistant coach and team mom at the same time. She initially signed up as team manager to get to spend more time around Kido, her crush, but she always told herself she was perfectly happy being near him, not in a relationship with him. She keeps telling herself this, up until he gets a girlfriend, and then discovers her feelings are much deeper than what she kept telling herself. Annoyingly enough, Naruse is also very astute, and he picks up on Yuki’s little crush and devastation. When Naruse tells Yuki he has feelings for her, she can’t believe it, and can’t imagine herself with such an annoying guy. She’s determined to finish the season strong, especially in honor of the 3rd years (and her crush), but she finds herself increasingly distracted by Naruse's presence and her constant thoughts about him.

The story's a bit cliché but it's still funny and enjoyable to read. It normally annoys me whenever a guy is younger (SORRY) but the current situation of the characters makes it bearable for me. Still fun and will be continuing to read it further. It's still ongoing though. Fml. ( ゜〜 ゜)
