The relationships that developed were stunning. Jane & June. Jane, June, & their mom. Jane & Patrick.
I wish I got more time with all of them. Seeing what happened next but also the ending was beautiful between Jane and her mother.
I thought the point about the pregnancy and switching identities again was great and had tied the sisters even more to each other in a stunning way; even if I didn’t get to read about it.

This book took me longer than I expected, specially the first half. It never had a pull on me like other fiction books sometimes have. But I enjoyed reading it, more so in the second half.
The main character is pretty annoying at the start but she grew on me further along the book.
The sisters' relationship is quite complex and very well developed in terms of timing along the plot.
The romance felt a bit accessory but I can see how it completed the main story and just like in life, many things happen at once.
There's a climax moment that is not the happy kind, it's the violent and uncomfortable kind. After that I felt the book changed tone (main character growth, maybe) and it follows up to the end, which I liked.
This book felt like a TV show or a movie, it made me feel like I would have enjoyed it more if it was one of those - maybe it wil be adapted in the future, I would watch it.
