** Advanced Readers Copy ~ Bookseller **

This novel was a definite tear-jerker for me. Although I've never had a sibling, so some of the sibling-rivalry parts were a bit confusing at times, I found this book to be extremely endearing and felt wholeheartedly for both of these girls. I loved how it showcased extremely difficult topics from eating disorders to cancer in such a light-hearted but serious tone. As someone who has seen the tragedy of cancer within her own family, I can truly express that Mary H.K. Choi did it in an extremely familiar and respectable mannerism. She did not romanticize cancer, but showed the truth behind it, and for that I'm extremely thankful. If you asked me what age range I'd recommend this to, I would definitely argue more along the lines of 16/17 and up, as this book does discuss drugs, underaged drinking, and sexual interactions.

Overall this is another great read, and I can definitely see myself recommending this book to my friends in the future.

tbh idk why i dnfed, it been like 2 years since ive picked up this book in the first place. i think it just got boring and repetitive with the medical stuff. this is also when i got introduced to booktok, so i kind of lost my mind trying to find good books to read. i’m definitely going to try this book eventually in the future, but like i stated before it was just kind of boring.
