This was a really cute series. Pretty low angst, but with heavy-ish themes, off and on. I laughed quite a bit and was happy with the steam level. I really enjoyed it. 4.5 Stars

This book gave me a lot to chew on. At first I wasn't super into it, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized I wasn't relating to Greer because I've been fortunate not to have a chronic illness. And that led me to consider that I might have some unexamined biases about people who spend their lives dealing with pain. I love that romance novels make me think about stuff like this, make me acknowledge my privilege and empathize with other people's pain, but in what feels like a safe space because there's that guaranteed happy outcome.

Perfect way to tie up the series.

Alex is deep and complex, Greer is a surprise firecracker, and I like how the observations they both make cut to the core of who and how the other is and how they are together.
Also, honorable mention to Patricia! What a sassafras!

Book 1 was entertaining, endearing and fun ... and made me want to continue. Unfortunately books 2 and 3 were nowhere near as strong as the promising start made by the book 1.
