i honestly did not expect a thriller/mystery book to be this emotional
there were twists and turns in this book, but they weren’t in focus for me
the overall setting and the eerie situations the characters were put into kept me on edge constantly
and its what i liked the most
the plot was predictable, but for the first time i didn’t mind because everything else was just so fucking good.
every character was so well written and written with purpose
overall a very different take on a thriller book but i loved it.
also the EPILOGUE WAS FUCKING CRUEL WTAF WHY WOULD THE AUTHOR DO THAT TF???

The premise sounded really interesting but it was so badly written that in the end I thought this was total garbage. I considered DNFing it several times but despite the ridiculous, totally expected, plot twists and the horribly unlikeable characters I just had to see how the author would wrap up this nonsense.

I never flew through a book this quickly, it really deserves the 5 star rating. Such a good "isolated setting" thriller!

This was my first read by Taylor Adams and woah, was it actually insane. I stayed up for hours and read it in one sitting. Adams not only managed to craft a fast-paced ride that was full of twists and turns, she also made it one of the most heart racing, page turners of the year!!! I loved how the direction kept me holding on for dear life without giving me whiplash. Def a must read for any thriller enthusiast!!!
