ALL THE STARS. Easily my favorite book in the series so far and I’ve loved every single one of them. But Vince and Crossbody? I don’t think I’ll ever recover from their insane chemistry
In case you'd forgotten, this book reminds you that this is Lily F*cking Mayne writing these hilarious Goliaths books. The writing is *chef's kiss* perfection. Strong Mortal Skin vibes in part of it, and just a *depth* to the story that felt much more intense than the first three in the series. Not that anything was wrong with them because they're all hilariously amazing, but this one is beyond. I still laughed out loud, the spice was EXTRA spicy and that's saying something when you have read the others... But the development of the relationship in this one was second to none.
Lily Mayne literally does not miss EVER. This series is so entertaining and fun, this book was no different. This installment with Vince and Crossbody is a little heavier than the previous three books but ofc Lily Mayne knows how to tell a great story no matter the subject.
This was truly one of the best enemies to lovers stories I’ve read this year. You can really feel the hatred, tension and disdain from both Vince and Crossbody and you never really pick a side bc you can see where both of them are coming from. They are vicious enough towards each other that you believe that hate, but it never goes so far that they can’t eventually come out of it in love and you believe it.
Their backstories and the reason why they acted the way they did made sense and really made you care about both of them equally. Crossbody’s backstory really made him an endearing character to me, I just wanted to hug him and give him all the kind words

4.5 stars. I love this series and I never ever want it to end. This book pinched at all my emotions and was just perfect.
yes!
Gahhhhh so goooood. The enemies to lovers chemistry is chef’s kiss and watching Vince and Crossbody actually fall in love was great. The confrontation scene at court was fantastic (best Mimi ever!) and loved getting to meet the new wrestlers! Can’t wait for the next!

This one was definitely angstier than the others, but Lily does a great job not dragging it out too long or too far. Definitely one of my favorite series and I loved both Vince and Crossbody.
