Часть про алгоритмы была интересна.
Про биомедицину и ее развитие тоже.
Все остальные 80% антирелигиозной пропаганды - не очень.

Maybe I read this too late after its publishing date (8 years at the time of writing this review), maybe we got more accustomed to reading techno-humanist updates and news (apple headset anyone?) but the book left me a bit underwhelmed. I was expecting to be shocked and feel like this book expanded my world view (which maybe it would have achieved in 2016!) but it didn't. Some insights are truly fantastic and worth bringing into conversations and debates about the future - so I might go back to my sticky notes in a few years and check how they held up.
Ok so I didn't quite finish this, but I completed 16 of the 17 sections of the audiobook so I was almost done when my Overdrive rental expired. I didn't want it badly enough to get on the waiting list and check it out again.
Frankly this book is kind of repetitive if you've read Sapiens, and also if you even halfheartedly pay attention to current technology, e.g. extended descriptions of fitness wearables (bizarrely fixated on Microsoft as a leader in this space, which almost seems sponsored), and also if you've ever read or viewed any sci-fi, which generally tackles much more interesting ideas than this book ever does.

I'm on page 300 of 450 of Homo Deus: so far, this book is awful. It's hard for me to continue reading, because of the way it was written. Throughtout the book I can't stop feel the arrogance of the writer. It's merely a way of thinking and not “the truth” but he thinks he only is woke and knows " the truth"
An overrated book, the writer doesn’t have any respect for other ways of living. I haven’t learned anything new from this book.

Out of date for the time that I'm was reading. Had lots of good theories didn't feel it went further than that
