I loved this book, liked it even more than first one. I usually don't like books with only one pov but this author really does it well. Can't wait for the next one
Nick is adorable. This is a friends to lovers romance. In Big Rock we met Spencer and Charlotte. This book concentrates on Nick, Spencer's best friend and Harper, Spencer's little sister. She's been off limits but suddenly tables are turned, the heat is ramping up, clothes are dropping off and magic, quite literally, is happening. Harper needs to learn a trick or two about Men, dating and sex. Who better to teach her than Nick?. Harper isn't his type anyway because he has always gone for older women. She's three years younger. She's off limits. But pretty soon they are equally smitten and the fun really begins.
These two are gorgeous together. Both passionate, loyal and funny. No triggers here - just lots of sexy fun. Really lovely read with low angst and hugely likeable characters.

This series is so sexy and fun. I love these characters, they are so clueless yet so in tune with each other. If there was really a series like the one Nick writes, I'd totally watch it. It is so obvious Harper is in love with Nick, but they both have no clue about what the other is feeling. Sebastian York has the best voice for these books. I love that this series is all from the male point of view, it is different than a lot of series I've read. Definitely listen to the audio if you enjoy audiobooks.
Please look past the godawful title/ cover design; the book is actually good, and damn excellent for the genre.
This wasn't my favorite Blakely romance; it wasn't as funny as some of the others, but it served its purpose (escapism from all the terrible news).
I was delightfully surprised at how much I enjoyed this book, especially considering I purchased it solely because of the name and quite ridiculous cover, but hey those are nothing new for Lauren Blakely books. Speaking of the cover, what is up with publishers choosing models that don't look remotely similar to the description of the character? Nick has tattoos, or ink as they are constantly referred to in the book. He also has a beard and glasses. I would imagine he might even have some hair on his torso; maybe some hair that a female protagonist can run her nails through. I would like to say no one is choosing these books based on the cover alone, but obviously that is incorrect because well I did.

Not a bad new adult smutty romance, just not a particularly memorable one. I appreciate the fact the two are long acquaintances and they grow into this deeper connection, both emotionally and physically. I don't feel like the sex god storyline had a huge impact on the story, despite what the synopsis makes it sound like. I also feel like the family fallout at the end was a bit mild for what I was expecting. Other than that, it's a fine book.

I enjoyed the geekiness of this book. The fun that Nick and Harper have embracing each other's quirks, discovering that it is exactly what makes them perfect for one another. Mr. O definitely delivered over and over in this book. Enjoyable good time!
