Looking for a romance with a little steam (okay A LOT of steam), but tired of the typical A$$hole Protagonists, let me introduce you to Nick Hammer.  He is hot, writes a dirty cartoon and knows what he’s doing in the bedroom, and oh yeah an actual nice guy!

This book is told completely from Nick’s point of view, which for me is not something I am used to when reading romance, but I have to say I liked it.  This is a friends to lovers romance, and these two friends are so damn adorable I can’t even get over it. There was a small amount of “yes, she likes you just tell her” on my part, but there was no drama, just two people that I really liked falling in love and a lot of steamy scenes.

This book literally has it all, so do yourself a favor and pick it up! And I will be sure to be reading more Lauren Blakely books ASAP.

3.5 stars

I can't seem to make up my mind when rating books that I thoroughly enjoyed but decidedly lacked the punching resonance to stick with me in the long run. So I tend to settle in the middle. Sucks that GR don't have half-stars. It would've been a big help.

Mister O is the second book to Lauren Blakely's Big Rock companion series narrated by the male interest rather than the female. One of the biggest pros of this series is the absence of girl-hate which is one of the most prominent features of a new-adult book.

Other thing to enjoy:
*Flirty Banters - lots of them.
*Sexy Times - LOTS of them too.
*Sexting - see for yourself.

Overall, a good book for those looking for something to take them out of a reading slump, quick read and a naughty, mindless entertainment.

These audiobooks are such a fun guilty pleasure. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for something funny, quick and sizzling. 🙌🏻

Predictable, but entertaining.

4.5 stars. That was adorable!

I mean, I don't know what I expected with a title like this and also the front cover, but this book is waaaay spicier than I anticipated. That said, didn't hate it. If explicit, sexy reads make you uncomfortable, skip this one. The writing is pretty decent. I wish there was the Female POV in here too, but it was from the head of the Male MC only which disappointed me a bit, and the conflict toward the end was pretty simplified and sort of not as exciting as other books similar to these.

Either way, decent.
