Nice quick audiobook to listen to while I did things. I loved that it was all Nicks's perspective. I don't think I've come across an all-male perspective yet so that was interesting.
With most things that Lauren writes the sex was hot and the chemistry between the two amazing. I love how they are also pretty silly.

I tried, I really did, but I just couldn't get past the style and the voice - not my taste. I didn't want to know this guy at all.
Could be a perfectly good book, but not for me.

4.5 magic wand stars!
You'll have to forgive me a little for this review, I seemed to have used up most of my brain cells today and am having a hard time forming proper sentences. :)
This was another enjoyable addition to Lauren Blakely’s Big Rock series. I love reading these books from the male POV. I also loved Sebastian York’s narration! He could read me the phone book (do they even make phone books anymore?) and I would still love to listen to him.
What do you get when you cross a cartoon animator and a children’s magician? Magic, of course!
I loved the relationship between Nick & Harper. Nick is a cute, nerdy, creator of a popular adult television cartoon called Mister Orgasm. I loved his playfulness, wit, charm and confidence, except where his feelings for Harper were concerned. I loved Harper too! She was a bit quirky, I mean you’d have to be to love your profession as a magician for children’s parties, she was sarcastic, attentive, adorable and I loved her competitive side.
This was a great friends to lovers story with a brother’s best friend trope thrown in for fun. Harper asks for Nicks help in learning how to date so she won’t be so awkward in front of the opposite sex. Of course Nick agrees, he’s had feelings for Harper for a while now and takes the opportunity when it arises.
This was a really fun, sexy read with no angst or drama. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series and the spinoff series One Love.

The here and now will have to be enough, so I’m going to just enjoy every second of this time with her until it ends.

You might remember that I read and reviewed Big Rock awhile back and absolutely loved it, you can check out my review here. So, I was super excited to read Mister O, which is about Nick, Spencer’s BFF, and Harper, Spencer’s little sister. I love forbidden romances between a guy and his BFF’s sister, so I knew this would be gold.
Once again, the writing is amazing. The story is told exclusively through Nick’s POV, and you know how much I love the guy’s POV, right? This one was slightly less funny than Big Rock, but deeper in a way.
I loved Nick, he was such a sweet guy, completely torn between what he wanted, what he thought Harper wanted and his guilt about Spencer, but he was never scared to be who he was and to be honest with Harper about his feelings. Harper was awesome too – I mean, the girl is a magician, how awesome is that? For a bit I was worried that her “man troubles” would drag on, and that she wouldn’t be honest with Nick about the way she felt about him, but I was super happy that that was not their issue.
I loved their relationship. Nick and Harper were friends first and foremost, and had been for years, so the development of their relationship seemed seamless and natural. They talked! They laughed. They did so much stuff together, even before they started their thing. And they had an amazing chemistry.
I was so glad about Spencer, Charlotte and Fido’s interactions with Nick and Harper. They were as awesome as on book 1. I also really liked the introduction of the characters of the next few books, I can’t wait for them.
I absolutely loved this book! I still liked Big Rock a bit better, but this series has me excited and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one.
