Swooning right here.
This was fun and cute. It had sexy moments , a lot of them. But, overall it was light and sweet.
I loved Lauren Blackley style of writing. Smooth and easy.

“I want to look into someone’s eyes and feel like he knows me, gets me, understands me. I want him to see my quirks and accept them, not try to change them. I want to know what that’s like.”

Quirky Harper. I loved this woman. She was funny. She had all these weird habits and stuff she liked which was different from anyone else. But, she had it with Nick and that was more than enough. He had her heart since day one and she couldn’t ask for more.
I loved her attitude. Even when she was being shy. She was a magician , what more can we ask for?

“Find me.
That’s what I’ve wanted from her—for the lightbulb to go off, and for Harper to see I’m the one she wants.”

Hot and sexy Nick. I loved loved this man. He was dazzling and charming. Smart and sweet. This man was no asshole. He didn’t have a mean bone on his body. So, he was a different type of a hero and I liked him. He was written in a smooth way , it fit him. He was such a gentleman.
Yeah , I do need a man like Nick in my life.
I loved all the cartoons he drew. I felt like I could imagine it. Reading from his point of view was really enjoyable and different.

“We’re talking about sex, but we’re also not. She’s saying something else it seems, something about what it means to open up to someone, to let him in”

Harper needed a hero. Nick had it in him. Or shall we say , Mister O?

Cute and funny but a wee bit forgettable.

Fun. It was nice that these characters didn't really have any crazy dramatic problems, but still created a good story.

I still had this on my TBR and decided to read it - I paid for it, right? My hesitation comes from the fact that I have started to notice a pattern in the books by Lauren Blakely. Although they are well-written, funny and have all the right tropes, they just seem to fade into the same story time and again.

Harper and Nick have a steamy love affair, with low angst and lots of fun. There is nothing wrong with this book; I enjoyed it and it is a great beach read. But I am sure I will have forgotten it next week.

Nick and Harper are one of my favorite couples! They are so adorable together, I love their banter and nerdiness and chemistry. The book was narrated from Nick's point of view and Sebastian York is always amazing to listen to. The book starts out with Nick teaching Harper how to flirt and date and be more confident around men. Obviously, things get heated between them quickly and some of the scenes are so hot! This is one of the best Lauren Blakely books I've read. Fun and dirty and cute.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters. I laughed out loud.

Too much back and forth for me to love it.But hilarious as usual.

Kept waiting for it to get interesting... A raunchy comic and a magician don't interest me. I guess, it being from the male perspective was novel... Read 40% DNF.

This is the second LB book I have tried to read. The covers are amazing...
