This book!! I had been DYING for Ronan to get his own book! My level of joy when we leaned he gets his own series!! 🄳🄳
And I loved every single word of it!!
We get to see the growth of Ronan after all he’s been through before Alaska & then how he’s handling life after Alaska! How he struggles with getting over his feelings for Abbi & taking on more responsibility at work. I adored Sloane! The chemistry between the two of them was šŸ”„! Am I stressed out about the cliffhanger?! Yes, yes I am!! 😳😳 Also I didn’t think I could hate on Henry, but if he causes issues between the two of them with his shenanigans I will be mad! šŸ˜‚ I’m dying for book 2!! August can’t come soon enough!!

ohhhhh my gosh, have I missed this world!!

we start off meeting Ronan, ā€œBefore Abbi,ā€ when he’s choosing between staying in Florida, or moving to Alaska.  At the time, Ronan is staying with his best friend Connor, and his half-sister, Ryan.  Ronan chooses to move to Alaska with Connor for the new Wolf Hotel that’s opening, and  that’s where he meets Abbi, the one he can’t have.

A year later, Ronan and Connor are being offered promotions at the new Wolf Hotel Mermaid Beach, but Ronan’s role comes with a catch: he has to stay way from Sloane, the owner of the local business next to the hotel….who may or may not have it out for the Wolf Hotel.  But, Ronan may have come up with a plan that can both help him get ready to open, and keep Sloane’s business afloat…except they may now have gotten themselves a different problem that they need to solve that doesn’t involve hiring employees…..šŸ‘€

THANK YOU to valentine PR and KA Tucker for the ARC!! THAT CLIFFHANGER 😭

I really enjoyed this one, it's a nice easy read. The characters are interested and the way it was written, flowed really nice, and paced out was also intriguing. The way the author wrote Ronan’s story was really intriguing, getting to see these two sides of his story and the effect they have on him and his actions. I’m eager to read the rest of the series to find out what happens next after we have been left on a serious cliffhanger. I’m also eager to read the Wolf Hotel series, so I can find out more on Henry and Abbi, but also Ronan’s role in that story and the implications it has on this one. Sloane is going to be an interesting character to explore more of and to be able to really get a picture on her personality and the impact that she is going to have on Ronan. Ronan is definitely a fuck boy, but we also see many other sides to him and I’m really eager to see those sides come out even more.

My sweet bb Ronan finally got his book!! I love this series so much - it has almost no plot (although this one had a little more going on than the original series) but the characters are great and the spice is hot, so who cares? I just need Ronan to get his HEA since Abbi is off the market.

The audiobook narration by Alex Kydd and Veronica Fox was good. I do kind of wish they’d gotten separate female narrators for Ryan’s chapters and Sloane’s chapters, but it wasn’t a huge deal since it was clearly separated as part 1 and part 2 of the book. Alex still has a way of making a laugh/scoff sound too often when it’s not warranted, but it’s definitely toned down compared to some of his other books so it didn’t irk me too much. Overall good performances and I’ll keep reading the series with these two narrating.
