When I got the email with this book I was so ecstatic! I love Maren Moore’s writing and I was so excited to dive into book 1 of Hellcats Hockey! I eat up almost every sports romance I read and this was no different especially with tropes like bad boy x good girl, opposites attract, forced proximity and more. It’s a fun spicy read while also hitting topics such as their family struggles and relationships. I loved Lennon and was rooting for her the whole time and of course, Saint is so much more than just a ‘bad boy.’
Thank you Maren Moore & Valentine PR for this ARC!

This was taking me a while to get through, then I finished the second half in one night. This wasn't quite good...but it had a little something.

Maren Moore is a new author to me and I am excited to explore her backlist after this. I don't normally read college romance so I was pleasantly surprised that I love this one. The Bad Boy Rule is an enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fake dating college romance between college hockey player Saint Deveraux and good girl high society socialite Lennon Rousseau. I thoroughly enjoyed this book so much. It deserves all the stars for Saint's FILTHY mouth alone. It was emotional and passionate and the tension between the two from the beginning till the end was oozing! The growth of both these characters and the way they developed feelings for each other were fun to watch. Once Saint fell in love with Lennon, he fell so hard. I thought there would be a third act breakup but while Lennon was admittedly hurt by what Saint did, I liked that she stuck by him and ultimately chose him. Pick this up if you are looking for a college romance with a lot of spice and heart.
