I loveeeee Saint and Lennon. I eat fake dating up every single time. This was spicy with just the right amount of sweet too. That penalty box scene ๐Ÿคญ Iโ€™m a big fan of this series and canโ€™t wait to see what the next book has in store.

Thank you so much Maren and Valentine PR for this eARC!

I am absolutely obsessed with this book. Are we even surprised though?! If Maren writes it then Iโ€™m guaranteed to love it. ๐™๐™๐™š ๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™™ ๐˜ฝ๐™ค๐™ฎ ๐™๐™ช๐™ก๐™š seriously felt like a warm hug in hockey jersey form.

The chemistry between ๐˜š๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ต + ๐˜“๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ was everything. Their banter, the tension, and the whole enemies to lovers dynamic had me kicking my feet the whole time. I truly adored them. It was touching to see them open up and support each other through each of their personal struggles. It hit hard emotionally ๐Ÿฅน

I also want to say that going back to Orleans University was so special. I loved seeing all the familiar hangouts. Truly loved every second.

Liked this one a lot. The banter and chemistry they had was amazing. Even when they were supposed to dislike one another they were in each other's mind. It was obvious from the beginning these two were gonna be hot and fiery together.

What i loved the most was their sweet moments. The moments they opened up and let the other one in. It happened slowly which I loveeee. They actually took the time to get to know one another.

These two dont play about each other. Saint is always ready to throw hands for her.

The character development was really good. Lennon stopped trying to be someone she's not and do stuff she doesn't want to do just to please someone else. Saint learned how to let go and open up and trust someone.

Thanks to the author and Valentine PR for an eARC of this book!

This was a good time. Their banter gave me Han and Leia vibes which was a lot of fun. There were definitely some things that felt underdeveloped, but overall it was fun.

I enjoyed the premise of the promise ring. I grew up with a promise ring as well, and I loved the way Lennon reclaimed its meaning for herself.

I liked Saint, and I appreciated that we really got to understand his backstory. He had some good growth as well. One thing that I felt was missing from his arc was his journey from playboy to monogamy. It felt like a really quick switch without a ton of development.

The spice was HOT but at times felt a little overdone? I wished we would have seen their relationship develop a little more once they started sleeping together.

I also wished we had more of their lives. Heโ€™s a hockey guy wanting to go pro, but I felt like he was barely at the rink, and this rarely played into the story at all once the initial premise was done.

Overall, I liked this one. It was fun stepping back into this world!

OH๐Ÿ‘๐ŸผMY๐Ÿ‘๐ŸผGOD๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ. MAREN! MAโ€™AM! The way I loved this book. Saint and Lennon are still living rent free in my head, I anticipate them staying there for quite some time.

I was HOOKED from the โ€œhate cuteโ€ HAHA. Lennon and Saint clashed immediately and they did NOT mince words. I ATE IT UP lol.

Good Lord get ready to fan ya self! Saint Devereauxโ€ฆ the MOUTH on this man and his inability to keep his hands (and mouth) off Lennon. This read is a delicious, tension filled, BANTER for DAYS, spicy, oh the spice, piece of perfection! Also the real life situations that show just how and why Saint is so broken. Honestly I think this is truly my favorite book by Maren.

I mean who doesnโ€™t end up loving the sweet, innocent, golden girl who brakes her one rule of not falling for the HOT, tattooed, massive campus playboy, bad boy hockey player? AND THEN he falls too after vowing he would neverโ€ฆ

I am so happy to be back at Orleans U and I totally spotted that little ๐Ÿ“ cameo.

Thank you so much to Maren for my eARC!

Itโ€™s been a while since I have read a true enemies to lovers. AND these two were complete opposites!
This book made my cold dead heart FEEL.
The vastly different trauma both have endured, and then. supported eachother through. Their combined trust issues, and crumbling each otherโ€™s walls.
Set in New Orleans - this college romance is super steamy, and full of all the emotion.
Very little hockey! I would call it more of a college romance.

Beautiful! Loved it!

This book?? Had me giggling, kicking my feet and I LOVED it โค๏ธ

Saint Devereaux is the tattooed, emotionally damaged hockey enforcer with a revenge plan. Lennon is too good for this world and too bad at staying away from hot, brooding men named Saint.

Theyโ€™re forced to share ice time and from the moment they meet?? FERAL. โค๏ธ

Would I let Saint ruin my life? Absolutely. And Iโ€™d say thank you. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Marenโ€ฆyou did it again.

Itโ€™s been 11 long months since weโ€™ve had a new book from Maren, and I canโ€™t even explain how much I missed her writing. The way she makes you feel everythingโ€ฆthe tension, the heat, the softness under all the angst.

Saint and Lennon completely took over my brain. And my heart. And, yeahโ€ฆ my imagination too because holy shitโ€ฆthe spice in this book? Like DAMN. Maren did not hold back. The chemistry? Off the charts. The tension? So thick I swear I had to put my kindle down just to catch my breath. The emotional pull between these two? So strong I felt every single moment.

Thereโ€™s just something about the way Maren writes bad boys. Saint is cocky, messed up, reckless and yet, thereโ€™s this soft, hurting center underneath all that bravado. And Lennon? Ugh, she was everything. Strong in her own way, sharp, sweet, and not afraid to go toe to toe with Saint. Their back and forth gave me butterflies and whiplash all at once. In the best way.

This wasnโ€™t just about spice , it was about feeling. About two people who werenโ€™t supposed to workโ€ฆsomehow fitting together so perfectly. And I love that it didnโ€™t feel rushed. Their story had time to breathe, to grow, to crash and burn and rebuild. It was messy and beautiful.

There were moments I wanted to scream, moments I wanted to cry, and moments I just had to hug my Kindle to my chest because the emotion was THAT real. Itโ€™s one of those books where you feel like you're falling right alongside the characters. And when it ended? I didnโ€™t want to let go.

Welcome back, Maren. I missed you so damn much<3
