I started reading this series a few months ago but hadn't got time to start Promised in Blood and Bound in Blood. But after I finished Promised in Blood I immediately started this one.
Bound in Blood starts right after the events of book 2 and everything in me wanted to finish this book and find out how everything ended.
Without revealing too much this book had twist and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat.
The spice was good as always. Sadie has a way of building relationships between characters that have you invested till the very end.

This could have definitely been split into two books. I enjoyed it, but it felt a little mashed together. I loved how quickly things developed, but it seemed like things moved rather quick. I would have liked to have seen more character development with Lucian . Also, I got tired of reading “screwed my eyes close” & “juicy” being attributed to random body parts. & honestly how many times does Ophelia bite her damn lip?? I feel like she’s just gonna have mangled lips at this point with how much she bites and chews on them. Alexandros is top tier morally grey book boyfriend, I tell you.

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and it was honestly the perfect ending for a truly amazing story. The story takes off where the last installment left off and it took me on a ride which I did not want to see end. The amount of action, twists and turns, and love in this book was phenomenal. It has the perfect balance of plot and spice to keep you turning page after page (or listening minute after minute in my case). The relationship development throughout the entire series is masterful and I could not get enough of these vampires. The battle scene was suspenseful and had me at the edge of my seat, and the spicy scenes were so delicious I couldn't get enough. The narration by Maxine Mitchell, June Deborahae, Sean Masters, JF Harding, Joe Arden and Oscar Reyes was mind blowing. They are so masterful in bringing these characters to life and portrayed every emotion with such conviction I could feel it with them as the story unfolded. Honestly, one of my favorite paranormal series.

Lots more giggling, less biting into her plump limp and MUCH less self-depreciation. Ophelia had some wonderful character growth.
