The first few pages were quite disturbing, but at the second part of the book it got better.
Some things I did not understand well, tho I definitely would want to get back to it later.
I loved the philosophical thoughts in the book and how it dealed with certain topics.
Although I wouldn't recognize the book to anyone, because of the first chapters, i would mean it's a book people should read.

Sehr spannend von Beginn an. Besonders weil die Beziehung der beiden außergewöhnlich ist. Ich konnte mich sehr leicht in Michael hineinversetzen und seine Gefühle und Gedanken verstehen. Auch die wahre Geschichte hinter Hanna im zweiten Teil habe ich nicht erwartet und daher wurde es um so interessanter. Wirklich ein sehr fesselndes Buch, konnte es zeitweise nicht weglegen.

At first, I didn't know what to expect from the book, but as I started reading, it captivated me. It's written in simple language and is very understandable. Towards the end of the book, I genuinely believed they would end up living together again.
However, it didn't unfold that way, and the unexpected turn, culminating in death, left a profound impact on me. The narrator spends much of his life with thoughts of Hanna.

der erzählstil war simpel und doch spannend, das machte es sehr einfach, der geschichte zu folgen. die charaktere waren vielschichtig, mir gefiel der verzicht auf eindeutige gut/böse einteilungen. die gedankengänge des erzählers brachten ebenfalls eine spannende zusätzliche ebene ins spiel.
