Didn't finish - totally lost interest. So sad!

The novel writing itself left much to be desired, but the plot kept me reading. Very Downton-esque.

Julian Fellows and historic fiction. What's not to like? Entertaining Downton Abbey-esque read.

Really smacks of Julian Fellowes.

Listened to this at almost double speed once I realized it wasn't going to be a book I loved. I didn't dislike it, but like the many "it'll do" period pieces on TV, it was a fine way to occupy my brain time while cooking, cleaning, and driving.

This was a blind buy for me, So I went into the book not knowing anything about it besides the blurbs. I don't typically go for books set in historical times So I was a little worried that I would have a hard time finishing it. I was pleasently surprised that I enjoyed this! I would say its like Gossip Girl and Dynasty set in the 1800's. The first chapter was a bit tough to get through, but after that, the story starts to elevate

Loved it!

The audio was so much fun, like reader radio. Not sure if the book would be as enjoyable honestly because it's easy to figure out how it's going to play out. But listening to it- an adventure.

Belgravia had me at "from the author of Downton Abbey". I enjoyed the story from multiple viewpoints and characters. It was a little predictable but I will watch the show if it becomes one.

3.5 For fans of Downton Abbey and Jane Austen. It was a great escape into the world of 19th century London society. Predicable, but so enjoyable!
