The books are never amazing but I keep reading them. 27th in the series and it’s always a fun, easy read.

3.5 stars

3.5 ⭐ Again, same story, different FTAs. I felt like the climax to the treasure was rushed. Once again, Stephanie gets angry at Morelli for possibly moving on while they're on a break, sleeps with Ranger, and doesn't see the sheer hypocrisy. At this point, I'm not sure I even like Stephanie anymore. I know I'll stick with the series but it continues to be tiresome to me.

I will continue to read this series because they’re light, funny, & enjoyable. Sure they’re all similar but after 27... does it really matter?

A welcome return to form!

The best part about it was that it only took me a couple of hours to finish. No major Morelli/Ranger updates, one good funny Grandma situation, but majorly anticlimactic.

I've read them all. The firs 13 books of the series (and the in-between the numbers books) were the best by far. I remember reading those and laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. After that, this series is still a light, enjoyable read, but not nearly as good as the early ones. I'll keep reading them until Janet calls it quits though because I still love the characters.

What a fun and laugh out loud story. Well developed and entertaining characters. Definitely recommend.

Always like Janet Evanovich for a quick read. Sometimes the situations are so bizarre that you have to take a leap of faith to even fathom it might be possible, but the books always give me a good laugh in the end. These are my "in between" more serious books to take a break from reality.

Evanovich continues the Stephanie Plum saga. Grandma Mazur and Lula are always down for a good laugh. The Morelli vs. Ranger saga continues. Light-hearted and fun.
