Same old formulaic Stephanie Plum novel. I am glad I got the audiobook. Lorelei King is an absolute gem

The ending was utterly lacking. So disappointing.

3.5 I always love listening to a new book every year about Stephanie Plum.

I keep reading the series out of loyalty, but it has been a long time since there was a "best book" in this series.

I felt kind of let down by this book. I’ve been a fan of this series since I found book 1 many years ago and look forward to reading every new book that comes out. This time though, it took me too long to get my attention captured by the events happening and for the action to pick up among the characters. It was nice to have a couple new characters introduced though.

3.5

Stephanie still delights with bumbles, mishaps and Grandma Mazur. Of course, Lula doesn’t disappoint either. To say I’m invested in this series after 27 books would be accurate. But I’m also hoping for a satisfying ending.
It’s always a crazy killer, mob boss, a few cars blown up or smashed, accidental shooting, Ranger vs Morelli... enough already! Give us an ending and try something new.

A nice continuation of 26, plenty of Indiana Jones references, plus two new "love but hate em" characters in Gabriela and Potts. Already getting my days in order to read 28.

Always fun and great for a laugh.
