adventurous medium-paced

Another enjoyable Stephanie Plum book. Not quite as insane as many of the past ones, but enough to give some good guffaws. Stephanie is still searching for herself and treasure. Definitely a different tone to this book, but still enjoyable.

Standard Stephanie Plum - same disasters, a couple new characters. Explosions ensue, cars are destroyed. Always good for a weekend spent outside my own head. Probably a bit better than a few of the recent ones.

Eh, the treasure hunting plot line just wasn't it for me.

Comfort Read.

Didn’t care for it. Wasn’t that funny. Don’t know who this new chick is, but she’s showing up Stephanie. Add more Lula and Grandma scenes. They’re always a good laugh.

Not particularly funny and the storyline is much more violent than usual which I didn’t care for.

Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for same old, same old?
