I actually really liked this installment after a few clunkers, but I don't enjoy the new cliffhanger turn the series is taking.

Stephanie Plum hunts treasure with her grandmother. A fast and funny read. I enjoy these books although they are repetitive and I need to wait awhile between books.

I don’t think I will ever get sick of these books. Love them. I love how Stephanie always gets herself in trouble and how ranger comes to her rescue. Can’t wait for the next one.

so funny, entertaining

Actually quite funny.

I keep reading the series out of loyalty, but it has been a long time since there was a "best book" in this series.

I’ve read the first six in this series and the first three were delightful but after those it seemed like it was the same story over and over but told with different characters and twists. I hadn’t read any more of the books until I bought this one.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The main characters and their personalities remain unchanged and although a lot of people complain about that, I really like the fact the main characters are unchanged in personality and quirks.

This story line was different. It was a lot more adventurous and the story kept me wanting to read it. The only thing I can complain about is that there was some instances of profanity in this book. I could do without that kind of language and in my opinion those words could have been left out and it wouldn’t have affected the story at all.

A Ranger-filled book which is always nice.

Thank you Atria Books for gifting me a copy of Fortune and Glory by Janet Evanovich!

Fortune and Glory by Janet Evanovich is completely wild. It's literary bananas. It has the most fun, unpredictable and super adventurous plot I have read in a long while! I see the drawl to this super popular series. Stephanie Plum is one hot mess and yet she is entertaining, funny and a bit charming. I absolutely adore her.

My only draw back is that this is the 27th book in the series (yes, 27!) and Stephanie Plum is in some never ending love triangle and/or some on-again-off-again relationship with the two main male leads: Morelli and Ranger. I get it...I wouldn't be able to chose either (yes, I would - it would be Ranger). Seasoned Stephanie Plum readers, how do you stand it? How can you stand NOT having a resolution?

And yet, why am I so intrigued to read the entire back list?

I highly recommend Fortune and Glory to readers who:
* Have read books 1 through 26 - you've come this far, why not read a few more?
* Love plots that are bananas in the most fun way
* Just want to be entertained
