This author reminds me of Maeve Binchy...these are ordinary stories of ordinary people, but somehow turned into beautiful tales, and beautiful adventures all because of a very talented writer. I'll be adding other Rosamunde Pilcher books to my reading list as I enjoyed this one very much.

I have so many books on my TBR list that I was more excited to read. while I love reading seasonally and especially love yule, I was eyeing my other books more. maybe i’ll come back to this another december.
