Wowza… this book was ADVENTUROUS!! I sobbed through a lot of it, and laughed out loud a couple of times. But I loved every single second of it. I was sucked in right at the cliffhanger in the first book, and ran straight to this one. I can’t wait until the third one comes out!! 
There were so many twists, turns, and unexpected plot points and they were executed beautifully. Ms. Axelson did an incredible job, and I loved Danny’s and Ari’s relationship. I too am praying for her vagina (IFYKYK) 🫡🥹😂

I think I enjoyed the first book more. Definitely was not a fan of the love triangle in this one.

After the cliffhanger ending of See You Soon, I was thrilled to receive the arc for this book from Lexie!!
This book is full of emotion and drama! It kept me wanting more and I really enjoyed it!

I started this series after seeing it mentioned on book tok and thought I'd give it a try. While I  enjoyed the concept behind the story I found it got really repetitive and needed more work. The fmc's inner conflict concerning her relationship and feelings towards Grim seemed to make an appearance in every scene...so much so that i began skimming over these bits. The characters, while obviously traumatised in their own ways lacked depth.
I'd rate this book a 2.5/5 🌶
It doesn't have alot of spicey scenes....but the scenes it does have are cute and sometimes a little rough. A light read if your a seasoned dark romance reader.
