This was cute!

A wholesome portrayal of grief & this actually had a pretty strong story/plot in my opinion. I don’t know that the writing/romance was always the strongest, but I honestly had a good time with this.

This felt reminiscent of the movie Casper & the character Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice

I did not expect to like this book as much as I did. Yeah, it had a cliché solution for the love interest but it was very well executed. I was actually so happy that things worked out the way they did. What I enjoyed most about this book was how it dealt with loss of one's parent and that of losing hope of finding love. It was a cute story that made me tear up in a few parts.
