Wow, this book was among the worst books I’ve ever read 😭 I love cute romance but the dialogue was so terrible and the story was all over the place. I felt like it was written by a 12 year old who has no life experience and only kind of knows what romance or work is from talking to an older kid in the neighborhood or watching tv. The dialogue was just so cringe. The plot also made no sense and the story just jumped from one scene to the next at random and without any closure. Why did they suddenly kiss in the alley with absolutely no build up?? Why did the dad have such a random wish list for his funeral? A murder of crows??!! What was even the point of that? Why did she say she’d meet her family at waffle house each morning and then just never show up (except for the first time)?? How did her sister know she was thinking about Ben when she never mentioned him to her family???? And when they did have resolutions, it was so corny. Could’ve been an interesting plot but was ruined by terrible dialogue.. I’m shocked this is all it takes to be published

Who would’ve thought I’d be kicking my feet about a couple ghosts? But hey, it’s a darling good time.

My friends kept saying "this is my favorite book, you have to read it". Im glad I did!
I enjoyed every single minute of Florence and her family. I think everyone has felt the same as Florence throughout this book with loss and feeling like a failure. I ENJOYED Florence’s family and Ben. I laughed, I got teary eyed but most of all I smiled while reading. It made my heart warm in the way a book hasn’t! The surprises at the end, Ms. Ashley… you did an amazing job and you have another fan to add to your list!

Some repetitive statements and a lot of things going on but I ended up really enjoying it!
I’ll forgive “doggo” but *shudders*”zoom zoom juice” loses the book stars
