Loved this book!!! Sergei was such an interesting character in the other books so I was really excited to get to this book to hear his story and learn more about his background. The way their relationship developed was beautiful. I also adored the way Sergei always protected Angelina, even when he was in his dream like state (is that called catatonic? Idk). I loved this broken hero romance so much!!

They keep getting better and better!

I love this series. This is a new to me author the first in the series was in the recommended area of books I might like. I love mafia books and the description got my attention so I decided to give it a go. And here I am hooked! They just keep getting better and better with each book. Can't wait to read the next I've been on a binge thanks to my Kindle unlimited subscription. And oh the ending to this giving a sneak for the book to be released soon sneaky sneaky ohh I can't wait! If you love this genre give this series a try you won't be able to put them down!

This one surprised me, despite the fact that it was quite short.

For me, the first part was quite rocky; it took me a while to get into it, but I'd say I eventually caught up to it.

The most relevant part I enjoyed here is one of the characters' representations of PTSD.

previous books as well.

Aside from that, the second half was more engaging as the plot and characters progressed. That one was good because there were parts that were thrilling to me.

I also enjoyed the progression of Angelina and Sergie's romance; although I was skeptical at first, their domestic scenes persuaded me.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read.
