action, action, action. a good book, but imo quite different from Children of Time. not as cerebral, although more politics and spy stuff

DID NOT FINISH: 49%

Honestly I probably would have finished it if my earbuds didn't keep listening without being in my ears, which isn't the book's fault at all. More or less just the straw breaking the camels back because the architect stuff was interesting and all that but I didn't really have enough of a hook to feel like I wanted to finish the series anyway.

Space adventure with pretty classic story beats for a crew with spaceship, but with enough new things to make it stand out. Liked the idea of Architects. The crew was colorful enough to keep reading about their next challenges.

A fantastic found-family scifi novel. Reminiscent of The Expanse, Firefly and Becky Chamber’s Wayfarers series.

Olli might just be my all-time favorite scifi character concept.

So fun and great characters. I laughed a lot even though it gets heavy sometimes

Good! Had some twists and turns I didn't see coming, liked the ending of this one better than "the children of time"
