This has definitely been added to my favourite books ever list... I will write a longer review shortly...

Spectacular of course. The only quibble I had was the way Dickens had every single character wrapped up in a fate they deserved in the ending. Great Expectations was less of a morality tale.

I really hate this book!

Still a good tale, but maybe not what it used to be. Fagin must be referred to as "the Jew" about 183 times. He is dehumanize in many ways and said to have teeth more fitting of a dog or rat. And no scene of poverty is complete without the word "filth" and an implication of moral depravity. This is all a bit tiring.

Had no clear expectations going into the book, but I enjoyed the story!

I had always grew up with the story of Oliver and watching a read different books but to read the original. So glad I read the version that is unchanged made it better to read.
