Didn’t enjoy this as much as I thought I would, but I didn’t hate it. The QB1 and the off limits coach’s daughter. Holden is the quarterback, captain, and dependable leader. Julep is the coach’s daughter, who is also going to school for sports medicine. She is heavily involved with the football team, and in comes Holden. Both have some dark pasts. They connect in that, and are essentially each other’s puzzle piece.
I wasn’t expecting some heavy topics in here. Julep’s past was dark, and you truly feel for her omg. Holden is also dealing with some grief still, and I loved how both characters reassured each other.
Idk I felt like something was missing in this. Sneaking behind her father’s back felt a little too easy for them.

It’s ridiculously cute
Trauma bonding is really the core of their relationship, and I love that xd
They are just so so cute and so in love.
It was really interesting how they navigated grief and falling in love

Making this a 4.75 because I can’t stop thinking about Holden

A football romance by Kandi Steiner? Hell yes!!! Because let's face it, she is one of the best at writing about this sport she loves. And her passion for football seamlessly permeates the story making it unique and engaging. In Quarterback Sneak, her love and excitement are beautifully interwoven with so much emotion and angst that, as a reader, I couldn't ask for a more perfect mix.
A forbidden romance between a quarterback and the new coach's daughter. Holden Moore shouldn't want Julep. She is off-limits. When he gets injured, she is assigned to help him. And all bets are off. Both share tragic and painful backstories. In fact, it is a deep pain and hurt that brings them together because they understand each other.
Quarterback Sneak is not only a love story but a journey to healing and forgiveness. The character growth is mesmerizing, and it's impossible not to love Holden and Julep, even if I would have liked to smack some sense into her at the beginning! But as the book progressed I rooted harder and harder for them. Nothing but good things to say about this book.

I loved Blind Side more but still a good sports romance
I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. I enjoyed this book just a little bit more than blind side and it’s all because of The Characters and their background story. Going into this book I felt from the start how much deeper this story went than the first two.
I want to start off by saying that this book is alot deeper and heavier than the first two books, it has more heavier subjects. This book is not only about mental health but also about loss and how to get through losing someone.
I enjoyed this book just like every other kandi steiner book that I’ve read. Holdon was such a grumpy but attractive guy from the start, why? You may ask. Just his ✨vibe✨. I’m such a sucker for a serious man who knows what he wants, is focussed on getting that, getting distracted on the way there but ends up being the absolute best for his woman; well hi, meet Holdon. After everything that he went through and then still standing this strong?

dare I say I hated this?
it didn’t help that the audiobook narrators did not fit these characters + I did not vibe with them.
I should have DNFd when the mmcs uncle said “did my princess make a poopie” referring to his daughter needing a diaper change
BYE
queue all the football dramatics;
“my heart belonged to football but now it belongs to her” sir this is a wendys

If I was being technical or critical, I'd rate this 3 stars but I had a damn good time reading this so fuck it , I'll give it a four stars ( 3.75 tbh but a good 3.75)
I LOVED Holden but Julep??? , she was the star of the show , slayed the house down Houston I'm deceased. Four words : pole, window, silhouette , heels.
I don't have much to say that I've grown really fond of the characters in this series. I think that I enjoyed this one more because the initial banter between Julep and Holden was witty as well as the third-act conflict being less melodramatic compared to the previous books in the series
