This was a solid conclusion to the series. Overall, I was entertained, but something about it didn’t quite land for me. I loved the first book, but so much of its magic came from the tension and chemistry between Lou and Reid. Once that spark faded, the story, for me, didn’t have a strong enough foundation to fully carry the rest of the series.
